fyi: redeeming Steam keys works like a charm now. Just installed my Copy with Steam a view minutes ago. I haven't noticed any problem so far.

Since I bought this here last year, do I now have a Steam version, too, or does it even matter? If so, is there an advantage of Steam over non-Steam, or vice verse?

Yea you have a steam key. Version you use is up to you.

The convenience of Steam auto-patching makes it the best way to go, imo.

Where do I find my Steam key? Is it the 20-digit key on the email I got on purchase last May?

Did you try to go on My Page? After login, search for Warplan Pacific and I can see this:

STEAM KEY:
GET YOUR KEY!

I can click on it to generate a Steam key.

I bought Warplan Pacific on the Slitherine store, but for some reason it's not showing up in "My Games". Thought I hadn't registered it, so I went to do it, but it says "Sorry, you already redeemed this serial."
So no Steam key for me it seems

Just wanted to point out that I did this and they were superb. Turns out I had two accounts on their website, which they offered to merge using login details of my choice. Very efficient!
