Hi everybody
There seems to be something wrong with the allied navy as played by the AI. Somehow they never try to attack my ships.
Scenario is Small fleet 1939 as Axis vs computer opponent (same happens with other scenarios)
- Turn 1
I move a Warship (Hipper here) on a convoy lane --> no attack by AI vessels during his turn (see screenshots below) - Turn 2
I bring in an unprotected transport(!) and place it directly in the North Channel --> no attack by AI vessels (see screenshots) - Turn 3
I add Scharnhorst on a convoy lane --> no attack by AI vessels during his turn
I have no more space to upload screenshots, but the behaviour remains the same. It seems to me, that I have free movement around England!
I don't think that this problem existed already in previous versions. Any thoughts?
Maybe there is something broke with my installation?

Could be something with just small fleet play...

I don't play the scenario but I bet if you test it with the normal they will attack.

They should come out.

The British navy has been passive since the last update.

The one in December I think. Someone posted about it. It was around the discussion about taking Norway in the first few turns.

It was reported in Tech Support by CongoBongo but got no reply.

I might have not seen it. It is on my list. Don't know why it would stop working.

Good to hear. I'm looking forward to a new patch.
I think that not only small fleet scen is affected by this issue, but am not 100% sure about that. When I find time, I can check it.

I have observed similar behavior for the axis AI. They send out subs just fine, but seem utterly uninterested in any surface action, mostly noticeable for Italy. This might also affect WPP as I have observed the Japanese AI just sitting its fleet at Singapore, doing absolutely nothing. I did use the default fleet size in either case.
