HQ Level, Supply, Morale, Readiness

I'm sure this is here, but while I can find a lot of discussions around how to keep units in supply, I can't find anything explaining the relationship between HQ quality, supply, and time away from the front driving Morale and thus Readiness. There's something qualitative in the manual, but I'm really curious how it all works (e.g., maximums, minimums, how fast readiness recovers under different conditions, with different HQ quality, etc.). Has anyone taken the time to build a fake scenario just to test this out or found a magic table with this sort of info?

To my knowledge HQ quality (and xp) do not effect morale at all but go directly to readiness. The effect is also instantanious. Just disconnect or switch around a bit...
