Trying to find a solution to the DEI fighter threat. I confirm I still have some oil available.

So I have placed two CVL in range of
Singapore.

But doing any type of strike on
Singapore from
Kuala Lumpur, the CVL does not provide any fighter coverage against the DEI fighters.
Why is that?

The CVL is in
Fleet mode just to be sure the fighters would do something. In
Raider mode, I would have understood nothing is done.
So, really, why no Zero in the air?

CVS don’t have a fighter type unit loaded on them. Don’t try to think logically or as in real life. The units will do what the manual says they’re programmed to do. CVS do not give mission support ever.

Snif. For Warplan 2, I want carrier based fighters scrambling when in
Full Support mode. And, I want to distinguish fighters, dive bombers and torpedo bombers. A mini Carrier at War on Warplan map.

Perfect,
Interceptors instead of
Fighter Bombers will do it. This will give time for the Japanese player to bring some Air Superiority units. Thanks Alvaro.
And also, this will give a better chance to sink the Repulse and the Prince of Wales.
