[1.0.2.2]Greer/Boskara Confirmity is just a free Planet rather then a Challenge

I think Greer and the "Boskara Conformity" are supposed to be a challenge. Propably something around the ancient guardians?
Well, the realy is that they are a utter pushover.

They turn into a Empire with:
- not a single resource in storage
- no pre-build civil ships or mining stations
- no spaceport to claim insantly
- no fleet to claim instantly

At this time, all it realy does is give a Boskara player a absolutely free "Empire Homeworld" to capture with no effort.

I think Elliot posted somewhere that the new exploration events were still a bit of a work in progress and some might be buggy or incomplete. I see a ton of potential though now that you can actually have interactions with branching choices in events. Hopefully this means a completely rethought shakturi campaign when they get around to it. To be honest using the star control 2 story formula would work perfectly here as it had branching choices for events as you explored trying to figure out what the hell happened to the galaxy and desperately trying to find allies when the world destroyers return.

Something similar with Ghost fleet for humans. 20k and you have nice starting fleet + spaceport.

That is not realy comparable. You have to pay for it. And if you do not pay, it could be a considerable challenge to fight them.

This looks like it is supposed to be a much bigger challenge, but does nothing realy.

It's worse than that - they still seem to have tech development & planetary improvement AI enabled, so it's not just a free planet but often a free planet covered in galactic wonders.

This is an event bug which we will fix for the next update. Unfortunately the fix will only appear in new games.

Main thing it is at the top of the list.

I hope you do not skimp on the starting force, as otherwise I might still be able to rush them. Their civil ships have to be worth a fortune in in techboosts alone.

I saw Greer and sent an invasion fleet instead of a colonizer. The ships got there, the guardians spoke, the fleet I sent was gone. No combat, no messages, just deleted...

And now the flipside: It is a giant headache for the Zenox.
As the Guardians are a normal empire, they are considered for "Research the most technology".

As a human race empire, I'm thinking of farming Greer for easy/fast stolen science. They have so much science tech and zero counter-intelligence. I can actually steal decent tech in 3 months! Hello spy skill boosts!

Conquering them would yield only a small fraction of that massive tech right in the form of science boosts, right?

So time to blockade Greer and send in those spies!
