Tried starting a new game w. Submarine Tutorial 1.3, which I successfully loaded last night. In between, updated CMO to 1.04 build 1147.42.

Tried several tutorials, and it's the same error.

Purchased CMO in early December, so the previous version cannot be that old.

Will attempt some detective work of my own, and see if I can provide additional info.

May be one step in the detective process. Might try the 1147.43 beta and see if the missing db was fixed.

Same error. Bypassed the launcher ... same thing. BUT, it's only the Submarine scenarios that are corrupted. (Tried an assortment of scenario, just to see if they would load.) Besides the sub tutorials, there might have been other corrupted scenarios.

Tempted to uninstall, and reinstall what I had on the DVD. At least it ran the sub tutorials.

Sounds like you're just missing the 488 DB3k file. Have pm'd you to where you can grab it if that's all you're missing and a wider reinstall\+full-update isn't needed.

Hi KnightHawk75,

Took your advice, and no only upgraded to build #44, but also added the database file, DB3K_488.db3.

It solved the Sub tutorial issue (which was moot, since I'm done w. the tutorial files), but more important, it allowed me to load the Merry Christmas, 1985 scenario, from CSP #45.

Yup, 1st post tutorial scenario that I tried, didn't even load ... until I switched to the latest & greatest version.

Thanks again for your help.
