[1.0.2.4]Possibly Faulty tech link Beam/Beam PD

The technology "Long Range Point Defense" needs "Advanced Beam focussing" - one techlevel above it.

By the name and normal patterns, I think "Long Range Beams" is supposed to be the link.

I think some tech does link backwards normally, but I was just wondering if you had random tech paths on in your game, which does very often cause weird backwards links.

Edit: Made me think of this, pretty minor and more amusing than anything. May as well post it here in case tech support thinks it needs fixing. Advanced interceptors are level 11, Long range are level 8...

Nope, this is fixed and fully visible links.

A flipped direction is not impossible, but would also be a bug.

Yep, that path is meant to exist but it's supposed to be a fallback path not a main link, it should only have a chance to generate if the link from Long Range Beams doesn't.

Fixed it now for the next build.

What about the Link between Graviton Weapons and the Boskaran Torpedo?
Is that one supposed to always be there?

And while not backward pointing, Beams and Blaster both need to be developed to develop the Point Defense. It does become the highest tier and most developed PD so maybe WAI

Yeah the Superior Point Defense requires you to fully go down two PD lines and then it merges, so that's intended.

The Devastating Plasma Charge had its required paths messed up at some point so I've fixed that for the next build, it's supposed to be Advanced Tractor Beams and Energy Torpedo Weapons.

I looked over and found one more:
It reads like the Haakonish need their Unique Tech to unlock Stealth.

That one is intended, Stealth requires you to have at least 2 prerequisite paths generate for it before you can get it. So since the Haakonish have special stealth tech if enough other paths don't generate they get a fallback path to Stealth from their unique tech.
