Does anyone have this issue? The explo ships just sit there on no mission but the system still has unexplored planets and roids. They did explore some planets in the beginning and then they just stopped. They explore on manual comand.

I just had a look at your save. As far as I can tell, your scanners are not good enough to e.g. explore (scan/survey) "Horgilleom 1" further and the fuel range of your explorers is too low to find explorable bodies in other systems that they can fly to and then return from again.
And they don't explore on manual command, they just fly to the mentioned planet, realize that they can't explore it further and then go back to no mission.

Look at Adernetai. Scan Level 1 unexplored
I bring the ship next to it and nothing.
But if I order the scan manually it does scan it. And it finds new resources:

You are right. Those unexplored markers didn't show up for me the first time around on the exploration panel (or better third, as the first two times, my game crashed almost immediately). The exploration overlay should have been on, but can't go back now to verify what I was looking at the first time around.
I crash quite frequently on this save. Just did again, without a crash log.

Regarding the crash, might be a .NET crash from scrolling "too fast". Check your Event Viewer. I documented mine here

I got several crashes on this save without doing anything, just loading it.
I am usually playing on GFN, not on my local hardware. That's why I didn't mention it initially, I just don't know how the game usually behaves locally.
