In reading the manual it states that when you strategic bomb, damage done is half stockpile have facility.

I performed some testing and found that the bombing has no effect the stockpile.

Test scenario 1 - Oil

TURN 1
Germany
OIL
Gain - 70 Used - 16 Stock - 253

UK

Bombed 3 5 STR facilities.
Facility 1 - 9 hits = 5 facility damage.
Facility 2 - 9 hits = 5 facility damage.
Facility 3 - 7 hits = 5 facility damage.

As you can see damage totaled 25.
5 to each of 3 facilities and 10 over that number.

TURN 2
Germany
OIL
Gain - 55 (correct) Used - 17 (guessing a percentage somewhere but minor) Stock - 291 (Differenece +38 55 - 7 = 28)

As you can see 0 stockpile were taken.

I would have expected 15 facility damage and 10 stockpile damage but that was not the case.
Just the 15 facility.

Tested the same with PP production.



Am I misunderstanding how it works or was it changed to not effect the stockpile?

Sometimes it rounds where there is no stockpile hit.

But I will take a look at the code. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

But never seen it drop even a single point so I suspect something is not working correctly.

I have done it this weekend to test a bug in WPP.

Play hotseat with Europe 1939 scenario. Go directly to the Allies turn and check French stockpile.

Now, relaunching the game.

Play hotseat with Europe 1939 scenario. With the available German tactical bomber, do two strategic bombing runs on Lyon city and note the results of the bombing.

Now, go directly to the Allies turn and check French stockpile.

You should see the difference.

I found the error. It is already fixed.
