Spain

Saw for the first time how Spain was conquered by the Allies in 1 turn. Initial DoW against Portugal. Then a few turn laster, a DoW v Spain. Use 1 or 2 Tac Air Units to eliminate the unit in Madrid (a reduced, 5sp Corps), advance and grab a few cities/towns. Took out one other Spanish unit on the North Coast. Dropped an Allied Airborne unit next to Madrid then walked into Madrid. Spain immediately surrendered.
The Allies (US and British) had some long range A/C research. Of course, Spain wasn't turned by diplomacy by this time.
I don't have an issue with this but curious as to why Spain is so easy to conquer. The Netherlands is harder, as one has to take more Dutch territory, proportionally, to ensure the Dutch are conquered compared to Spain.
