No supply point for airframe

Supply points are needed for building a chassis. Is there a reason the use of armament points for building an airframe?

all airframes have a cost associated. The only exceptions are Lend-Lease airframes

What is the "associated" cost - armament points or supply points? I refer to the Live Manual - 4th paragraph of 2823 and 2824.

Manual may be wrong, AFAIR it costs supply points to build chassis/airframes + the difference in cost to combat vehicles/aircraft in armaments points
