Duration of a COMINT

I don't find it in the manual. What is the duration of a COMINT?
COMINT allows to increase reconnaissance levels around a given area during your turn. What if I smell a big offensive in one location, if I use a COMINT during my turn, the reconnaissance levels will increase.
Will my units benefit from these COMINT reconnaissance values during the enemy phase right after my turn?
Example, as USA, I am expecting Japanese CV fleet in Midway. I am using a COMINT on top of Midway to increase reconnaissance levels in the area. If the Japanese fleet is showing up, does my US bombers in Midway, in Naval Air Interdiction, will attack with the COMINT reconnaissance values or not (i.e. back to standard ones)?
