How many times did you miss and attach unit to a wrong corps like VXXXVIII instead of VXXVIII?
I did it a couple of times, and without an ability to reassign units again in the same turn, its a pain.
I would like to propose another option in a game settings that allows to have Arabic numerals for an Axis. So instead of VXXIII it will be 73 corps. Much easier to manage units in that case.

Or simply learn the roman numerals with the special non-standard kinks used by germany.
I know the roman numerals are a pain in the ass since school but they are historically used designations

I know how to read them.
But it creates unnecessary eye strain when i have to count "I".
When playing Soviets it is MUCH faster and easier to make reassignments.
Btw.
Did Axis or Soviets use NATO symbols for their on map units? (probably not as there was no NATO)
But we have such option in a game

For those who wish to try you can export your unit CSV from the editor,
open the CSV file
filter by NATion (1 for Germany)
filter by TYPE (9,10,11 and 1937)
this will give you a list of all the units with Roman Numerals - amend them to numbers or ordinals as per your preference take off filter save and close file
import it back into your game
all done and less work on the old eyes.
