I understand Steve made some code changes wrt to transporting NEI resources recently. Alas to say I am having difficulty now in saving NEI oil resources. Is there something I am missing?


Save Game.

Using the latest beta testers version, there is no problem with the NEI resources anymore.

But there were problems with this recently, so there might have been a fix made there by Steve in our version, which is not available to you yet.

Where are you trying to save it?

Traded oil cant be saved in the original location, you have to move it.

Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. As you can see from the original post there are two convoys available in the South China Sea to transport the NEI oil there. Although, I keep getting that error message, even before allowing me to select the destination locations.

As Centuur has suggested, it's probably a bug that still exists in this version.

I might add, it works just fine in version 4.3.0

I am having this same difficulty... I had to mod in the oil to correct for it.

Additionally, once NEI becomes controlled by the CW, a different problem presents with oil sent to production or saving not arriving at its destinations (no cps are listed as transporting the relevant resources even though they are set for saving or production.

What's wrong with this picture?
It starts right after GE takes NE. Don't know when it ends. It is impossible to get the two traded NEI oil to Japan, or anywhere else in the empire.

I have found that the oil still makes it despite what the charts say... at least if saved in Japan for example. For production, it does not seem to work, though. What I have been doing is saving in Japan and using previously saved oil for production.
