Here's a small thing I just noticed. No doubt it has been pointed out before, but I thought I would bring it up again, so maybe there could be a fix sometime in the near future.

When In the choice between building FB's versus escorts early in the game, there is really no choice at all. FB's have better tactical and naval air stats and are identical to escort fighters in every other way. In my opinion, the FB's better attack stats could conceivably be offset in escorts in some way, perhaps with better defense and/or range, or maybe a reduction in build cost or logistical cost.

FB don't intercept as fighters?

That would certainly be a significant difference. Is it true?

sure early on but it costs production and experience to switch it just depends on what you are wanting to research, if you want range go for escort if you want jack of all trades go for fb. they are quit different in 43, 44 tech. you should buy what you are going to research. as US or Japan I almost always go for escort tech as UK interceptor or FB

Good point about paying attention to what comes down the road from research.
