This would happen in DWU as well.
Blackhole resorts have high scenery but a very short lifespan.
It took years for the construction ship to find a sweet spot and build the resort...
Once built, it earned an income for a brief period.
Then it got sucked into the timeless core.
About to be sucked in...
So, is it intended to literally just throw resources down a hole?

if black holes actually suck things slowly into them....
than that explains why the resort i was sure i build at a black hole wasnt there anymore a bit later...
and explains why construction ships have a hard time to move to the spot to build a resort base...
and why ships have a hard time pathing in blackhole areas, hugging some invisible "edge" while slowly moving around it...
and why ships weirdly bug out with their icon, where it is in different spots at different zoom levels...
and why ships sink under the black hole gfx sometimes...
i think for gameplay sakes... blackholes shouldnt suck things into them...
maybe blackholes need a "different terrain modifyer" on them... i guess "slowly damages ships" wouldnt be any better... (and "shields dont work here" would be better in a nebular)
maybe "all ships have half speed and take tripple the time to hyperjump while inside a blackhole area" ? (the blackhole would still "block" the center of the system as if its a planet.. but not suck things into it. (if it does that, never really checked but yea, it would explain some weirnesses)

Are the devs aware that black holes don’t actually suck things into them? That as long as you don’t progress past the event horizon, they act exactly as anything else with the same mass does… you can orbit a black hole outside the event horizon just fine, and escape from said orbit with no more trouble than escaping from any other orbit.
And the mass of a black hole? That’s equal to the mass of the star it used to be. So you can orbit a black hole in exactly the same way you can orbit a star. The event horizon isn’t going to be larger than the photosphere of the original star either— on the contrary, it’ll be MASSIVELY smaller. Like, miles instead of millions of miles.

So, as the quote goes... "Everyone said I was daft to build a castle on a swamp, but I built it all the same, just to show them. It sank into the swamp. So I built a second one. That sank into the swamp. So I built a third. That burned down, fell over, then sank into the swamp. But the fourth one stayed up."
In my case it seems to be only the third Resort. The first two only lasted 2-3 years. The third one was built far enough away that the Passenger ships can reach it and it doesn't seem to be being drawn in.
So,luck of the draw as to if the Constructor can find the proper spot.
