I have what appears to be an ion storm (large purple sphere) that is moving through a nebula. Question: do these storms move? Do they ever disappear or dissipate on their own? The manual doesn't do a very good job of explaining this. Also, my ships (both civilian and military) form a conga line of disabled ships in the storm. AI pathfinding needs some serious work here.
