Isolation

It is clear that the unit as circled is 2 hexes and 3 MPs from the nearby undamaged rail hex. To determine whether the unit is isolated or not, should it be measured (dist, MP) from the undamaged rail hex or any depot nearby? Q1: If the isolation is determined by the depot, why does "Off Rail MP:3" not change to the MPs from the depot? Q2: Should the depot be the one of which it deliveries the freight to the unit?

because neither the unit nor the hex are isolated according to the game rules?

I'm not sure what you are asking, that hex is not isolated.
see the rules in 25.9.2 (for when a unit is treated as isolated). The hex had to be cut off from contact to a NSS (either land or via ports) in the previous logistics phase for isolation to be triggered

The unit is 4 hexes away from the depot, the railhead doesn't matter in WITE 2. I'm not sure why it's showing 3 MP, when it should be showing 4 MP away from the depot. Did you fly any transport missions this turn in the vicinity?

No. I attempt to plan an airborne operation. 25.9.2. suggests the airdrop direct to the depot. Thanks.
