Not sure this is a bug but I would like to confirm. North and South of
Tarawa, there are these small islands.
They are all indicated as
Plains.

As such, I can perfectly invade there. But, something I would like to confirm, I can bring planes
WITHOUT an airfield.
Just would like to confirm this is normal. If so
Tarawa will be captured soon and next the
Gilbert islands.

And Alvaro see, this is typically the situation where I would like to spend a COMINT. I know I will be attacked next turn. So consuming a COMINT now would increase detection of my defending units during Japan next turn.
But since COMINT life time is only during the turn, this is not possible.
COMINT is only for attackers not defenders. It should be for both imo.

So finally I was not attacked but it would have been a good incentive to spend a COMINT anyway.
Maybe my opponent sensed something bad waiting.
Or he did spent a COMINT to see my fleets.

US navy is back in the game. The
Gilbert islands have been captured, in advance compared to history.
No sign of the IJN, strange.

Saipan is empty. Is it a trap of my opponent?
I should do an AAR, don't know if people would be interested since it is a little time consuming.
