Air crew training is very poorly implemented

Air crews need to be individually tracked in the reserves. The current system lumps everyone together, and trains the air group as a group. This means that their experience is tracked as a group as well.

When you bring them to the map, the system creates pilots that fit the average experience of the air group. This results in pilots coming from the reserves with really bad experience despite having flown weeks of training missions. No matter how long you train in the reserves, your air groups will still come to the map with shitty pilots.

I agree to that.
But frankly I think the game could fare as good with just the 'average air unit experience' without delving deep to individual pilots and their experience.

Yeah albert its odd how pilots are implimented with such detail when you cant micro them or even empty out airwings of pilots.

+1, their exp should better average without massive spikes in either direction.
You'll also see those spike in editor if you build a new unit or simply add pilots - sometimes you get a 90+ and sometimes a 50ish

Yes, for the assignment of pilots to be useful, the experience should be less variable and closer to the average experience value of the unit (at least as far as low experience values are concerned).

+ for the average group exp without different pilot types and huge difference between them
