When is the I Polish Corps meant to appear in 1940? The Polish Corp DE came up when Poland Fell after the Axis 3rd turn, but I don't think I got the DE for this for either Britain or France (if I did and have forgotten, I definitely would have said "Yes"!) and it's now 3rd April 1940 and no sign of the Corps... The allies can't afford to be a Corps down his point in the game! Is it possible it's just delayed? I'm not sure of there is some random variation on the time for it to appear. Thanks

The relevant Decisions are DE 109, 115, 200.

DE 109 fires if the Poles opted to head for the UK, and it has a 50% chance per turn from the 1st January 1940 to fire, which means its actual

DE 115 only fires for the UK if the Corps was formed in France and France then surrenders, and it cannot fire before 1st August 1940.

DE 200 fires on the 1st January 1940 to fire if the Poles opted to head for France.


I suspect that it might be DE 109 that you're waiting for. A way to check will be to go to Options -> Advanced -> Scripts -> Decision

As one-off events take place in the game they will disappear from this area, consequently by scrolling the list of Decisions you'll be able to see which ones have not fired.

None of DE 109, 115, 200 have fired, but it looks like the original Polish DE did, as it's not listed. It's now 25 April 1940 and I've still not received the Polish Corps (I chose to send it to Britain in the Polish DE). Is this a bug? I'm running patch 1.24.01 and no mods.

Thanks for the screenshots, and I've checked the script for DE 109 again as that is the one that should fire if the Poles head directly for the UK and cannot see any errors in it.

The only thing I can think of is that the rng has been unlucky so far, as while a 50% chance per turn should in theory mean it happens fairly quickly, it does of course have a small possibility of a noticeable delay.

Still no Polish Corps DE on 17th May 1940 turn

I finally got the DE for Polish Corps in June 1940, phew! Guess I was just unlucky before.

Glad to hear they've arrived!

I'll have a think about increasing the chance per turn as a bit of variation is good, but maybe not too much!

Maybe have a failsafe date by which it *will* arrive?
