Two Questions

After reading the invasion rule and doing a little testing I see that in WPP unlike WP you can invade in to any coastal hex. So is the only difference between that and a beach hex being that you can supply units in a beach hex using naval units?

I notice that for CVs there are two numbers for experience. For example, in the 1942 scenario for the Yorktown it is 55% in light blue and 60%. Moving the cursor over the 55% displays Carrier Planes. As the experience of the carrier planes increases what values go up? Air combat, naval air, tactical? Does the 60% which appears to be the maximum that can be attained ever go up?

Historically, one of the biggest issues for the Japanese was that once their highly trained veteran pilots were lost their replacements were very much inferior in experience and training. It got worse as the war went on leading them to adopt kamikaze tactics. Is the experience of carrier planes decrease for the Japanese as they are replaced?

If you are talking of beachhead supply, it is working the same both way.

It should be linked to the based air experience of the given country. For example, both USA and Japan have a based air experience of 50%. But, their carrier based planes have an experience of 60%. So, I assume they will lower their experience with losses taken. But, I may be wrong.

At the end, it won't change anything when USA will get plenty of new CV fleets.
