OK Back to Baltic Fury for the final scenario in this series

------
You are the commander the Soviet 38th Guards Airborne Corps. The formation has three Airborne Divisions (7th Guards, 103rd Guards, and 6th Polish) as well as the 6th Guards Motor Rifle Division (MRD), two Air Landing and one Naval Infantry Brigade plus a large slice of supporting troops to add firepower.

However, the initial actions (this scenario) will be conduced by your light brigades (and the Pols) to secure a corridor to Jutland. In a move similar to King Charles Gustav’s March across the Belts in 1658, you will rapidly seize a series of key points across the Great and Little Belts of the Danish Archipelago, allowing the two Airborne Divisions to concentrate on seizing the neck of Jutland while ensuring safe passage of the MRD to offloading ports on the mainland.

Your deputy handed you a pirated copy of the film A Bridge Too Far as he departed your HQ for the final time. His protests had apparently attracted too much attention from the Zampolit.
----------

As always I look forward to any comments or critiques. Lots of cargo in this one - I've included both a schedule (PDF) and the detailed load tables for the full Corps, please let me know how much of this you actually need.

Final version uploaded and also submitted to CSP

The detail you put into these scenarios is insane. My work spreadsheets have fewer numbers.

Good thing it's a long weekend here in Blighty :)

Well I'm an army guy so those load tables put me back in my comfort zone :D

They need more smilies on this new forum, was looking for the clinking beer mugs...

Impressive Scenario - I am a little over 2 hours into it so far.

In keeping with a bridge too far - the 101st has taken Eindhoven with bridges intact - awaiting a counter attack and
the 82nd and 1st are yet to drop.

Only issue so far is that the Spetsnaz at Laage are not para capable - I assume that is an oversight.

Unless I am missing them - I would trade a flight or 2 of Fencers for some recon Fitters.

Problem is that the Su-17m are all Day only so I pulled them out of the scenario, while the Su-24MR is all weather.

Good point on the Spetz. a generic Spec Ops would be Para capable but I see he spetz are not so will fix that.

DOH - and I've been using them only for stand off ELINT. Lesson learned.

Completed rough play through - higher losses than I should have had and lessons learned on applying reconnaissance and integration of airborne/seaborne capabilities.

Running through again with refinements to organization.

Changes to TOE - mostly to replace non para assets with para capable.
At Lotnisko
Replace 40 BDRM-2 with 40 BMD-3
Replace 36 Saboteur with 36 SpecOp Saboteur

At Szczecin - Goleniow
Replace 9 23mm ZU-23-2 + SA24 with 9 23mm ZU-23-2[BTR-ZD]
Replace 18 Spetzsnaz Saboteur with 18 SpecOp Saboteur

At Donskoye
Replace 51 Saboteur with 51 SpecOp Saboteur

Did you intend to award WP victory points for damaging the Piers? I would seem those should be negative points for damaging infrastructure you want to capture.

The primary challenge here is organization and keeping the WP forces flowing.

As usual, a scenario that makes you think - well done.

OK doing a quick update to this but there have been a lot of changes to the cargo system so I've got some learning and fiddling to do..

OK, here is a quick update

The new cargo options may mean a rebuild of this one in the near future but we'll see how this turns out.
