In Section 6.3.3.3.2 there is the mention of the "Initial Japanese Operations Bonus and it says:
" Note that there is also an initial operations bonus for the Japanese during the first 4 months of the war".
My question is exactly when does the bonus end? Is it 1Apr42 or a week later? Or some other date?

To piggyback off these questions, what precisely are these bonuses? Can they be quantified somehow?

It ends April 01. The bonuses are no prep required for landings and assaults (low loss of troops on landing) and all the squads (but not devices and supply) are landed in one phase.

Do you know if bonus also applies to paratroop operations?

Uhm, the bonus was always described as an amphibious bonus. There is no info anywhere saying that transport aircraft can have different drop rates for paratroopers.

Yaab is correct. It applies only to amphibious operations. Paratroop operations are limited by the number of transport planes assigned to the mission during the bonus period (as well as after).
