Gaaaaahhhh!

It would be just peachy if one time my fleets followed my orders even as well as a completely sodden drunkard on shore leave for the first time in seven months!

Jeebus Freaking Rice!

Send a fleet to guard a base I just took - and what do they do - IMMEDIATELY freaking bug out.
Why?!!!!! FRACK if I know?!!! They weren't overwhelmed, they had full fuel tanks, and I had set their base to BE THAT STATION. All They Needed To Do Was HANG OUT. THERE. WHERE I TOLD THEM TO.

They had ONE job!@#$!

And this game is like this - over and over and over - NOTHING DOES WHAT YOU TELL IT TO. Not even remotely similar. It's like herding especially moronic cats in a lazer show.

What the hell?

First, we'd need a save file to have any chance of figuring out what's going on. However, we have been reviewing a lot of reports about fleet behavior and the new beta update this week (probably Friday) will most likely resolve any fleet issues you have had.

Yeah - I'm looking forward to the steady improvements and how it all plays out.

I was super frustrated in that moment -- had been building up to a big strike on their HW and I needed to refuel -- so I took a mining station on a cassalon giant - but then it needed time to repair b4 it could refuel - so I set them to manual & guard- and then they took off as soon as I jumped away to attend to something else - and when I got back - I sent them back to where they should be - just in time to watch the base get blown to hell (duh) and there was my flag fleet - out of fuel - and no way to refuel it.

Literally amazingly frustrating --

But, cest la vie. Looking forward to game-play improvements!

Please give the new 1.0.4.1 public beta, which is available today a try (make sure you read the change list for some key information) and let us know if it helps reduce frustration in this area.
