how do i group ships into a fleet?
how do i group ships into a fleet?
Make sure the ship is selected as the current unit, then click on 'Focus Unit Settings' on the top menu bar, in the top right of the 'Focus Unit Settings' window there is a small white retangular box with the words '1st Fleet' in it, click on that box and a little blue input window will appear, type in your new fleet number using the number keys on the main keyboard, NOT the keypad as these do not seem to work.
Remember when issuing orders that on the Navigation screen the 'Single Starship Action' is clicked on, it will change to '1st Feet Action' (or whatever number you have assigned) ALL the ships that have that fleet number will then respond to your orders, this is very usefull for planet attacks and colony building.
