S-400 40N6 - Ballistic Target

Why does the S-400 SA-21a/b's 40N6 missile only have a 4500 kts (~6.7 Mach) maximum target velocity? I've looked far online and found nothing to support this - rather I consistently find numbers in the range upwards of 9300 kts (Mach 14).
Can anyone elaborate on this?

Yes I am curious of this too. I was doing some testing and noticed Russia really doesn't have anything to compare with US SM-3 and SM-6 for shooting down ballistic and have ability to fire at hyper sonic HGVs. Even the 90s Patriot systems have ability to intercept at 6500 kt speed in game. I'm not saying Russian claims are true or false to the "mach 15" but do we have any sources that state why the 40N6 in game is only set at 4500? As of now you can kill of Russian assets with any type of Hyper sonic weapons if youre playing against them (US AGM-183 and Chinese DF17, DF21 and some others)

I'll collect a list of sources and specifications, and then, using the new information received, I'll submit a DB Update Request for the 40N6 (Weapon DBID#: 2104) on GitHub shortly...

Yeah that would be great thank you. S-300VM SA-23 Gladiator\Giant in CMO has the 9M82M missile which is faster(6500 kt target ability) than the 40N6 (4500 kt) so obviously I assume the technology and ability for the 40N6 to go hyper sonic speeds is possible
