I was once want to make a France1940 scenario and after preparing some books and links, the editor told me the earliest year is 1941.... thats.... frustrating

I think the start date is hard coded in the .exe.

If you look at the WiTW forum, someone designed a Poland 1939 scenario and that has a work around for this issue, so maybe worth reading that thread and checking how they did it?

I would love to see this as a new feature to the editor. Hard coding it so limits the game.
