Is it possible to edit saved game ?

Hello.
By example, I begin the long campaign 1939-1945.
I am now in 1943 april 10 (by example), I play Axis and I like the situation of the game and I think : with this game, I can create a new game in the editor. To play this new game but with the Allied (by example).

My question is : can I open with the Editor a saved game (.save or .dat ?) ? To transform this saved game in a new game in the Editor ?
I try to import a saved game (.save or .dat) in the "new files" in the Editor, I select the game (.save and/or .dat), I click ok and... the saved game appear never in the Editor.

Sorry for my english, I speak french from Belgium.

Best Regards,

It isn't I'm afraid, though if you save regularly as you play then you can always continue a game in different directions to see what might have happened if you did X rather than Y at that point.

Hello.
Thank you for your answers.
I know I can save the game regularly and replay it, on April 10, 1943 for example, with the Allied instead of the Axis.
But as the Allies are weak and it is the situation on the map that interests me on April 10, 1943 (by example), I wanted to open the game in the Editor to change Edit Production, Edit Research, Edit Resource Data, Nationale Morale etc. etc. to help the Allied... And create a New Game :-).

One thing you can always do if you're playing against the AI is to swap sides when you load up a saved turn.
