The Truth Behind The DW2 Double Moon Phenomenon, or isn't?

In case you wanna check this out, Elliot or Eric, it's in the same save you've received when you asked for it in another thread.
As you may find it as hard as we do when we have to look up a name (nebula, star, planet, moon, unpronounceable asteroid) without an in-game find, I've added an locator arrow.

I wonder how terraforming would work out. Since they have to share the atmosphere. I'm not starting with gravitational forces, just accept it exists. But than again, it defies any rational explanation - it's there, not only for a moment before it ripples apart. Well, it would be proof that we, the nowadays Humans, are not only the descendent of a once space faring species but also that we are living in a simulation, where such things are possible. Wait, why am I typing this? Stop it, I don't... silence... keep typing as ordered...

lol - nice find.

I had a double system on top of itself in a nebula that caused the game to glitch all over the place - couldn't see my ships or planets in it - until I removed one of the systems using the game editor.

But along the same lines - would really love some realism options so that moons cannot be more than say 25% mass of parent body. Probably not even collectively, or it would all be unstable.

There's probably a simple formula for minimum distance between orbits for the bodies to be stable (two large bodies in near enough orbits will surely perturbate one another over time).
