FitE2 Either Side

Long time experienced player with operational / strategic military planner background.

Aiming to set up two new games - one on each side (works well alternating time commitment), but no mirrors - two separate opponents. Versions 1.8 or 1.9.

Am a minimalist on house rules. Not interested in replaying historical course of war further constrained by a myriad of house rules.

Just limited by the game engine and the scenario design, as much as practicable. In other words, leave the operational canvas blank with the fullest palette the game provides and let the creativity of two opponents paint a new course and outcome.

Let me know if you desire a serious challenge. Discussion on settings and what few reasonable rules follows.

Thanks, M1. Appreciate the suggestion to join. A little more time now after transitioning out of uniform.

Excellent, redcanyon. PM me your email address and I will send a rules file. What version would you prefer to use - 1.8 or 1.9?

I can play Germans if you like but beware Fite2 has flaws, no matter how many cities the Germans capture Russian production remains unaffected and Russian winter 1941 counterattack will devastate any German defence.

loveman2, thanks for the warning. I played many FitE and FitE2 games and am aware of the many bugs. I recall the old Ron Mod versions in TOAW III that had objectives and whatnot.

What version do you prefer? Am completely fine with the Axis. To start quickly, I already have a German T1 completed for 1.8. Otherwise, if 1.9, then I will get right to it with some time needed, which is no problem.

Send me your email and I will pass over the rules/settings file.
