Minor Suggestion: Difficulty is a Player Setting, and as such, should be in the player setup page, not in the general galaxy setup screens.

Unless it really isn't about the player? But as described, it affects only the player - and thus - should be on the player's setup page. This would help drive home the point and dispel confusion.

I guess difficulty makes the AIs life easier or harder (so for example they get a bonus income if you increase difficulty), that's why it is on that page.

Well - the tooltip says it affects YOUR mining rate, income, targeting, countermeasures, etc.

But if it does affect the AIs, that should be noted instead!
