Player TB control not ticked but can still transfer to Map?

Although the "Player Enhanced TB control" is NOT ticked I can still move units, mainly SU`s but a few division sized units to the Map. Is this what is implied by "enhanced" ?
Is this a WAD ? and if so why is it enabled ?
Does doing these transfers cause any side effects such as negating the "No early finish" aspect of the scenario?
Am using latest beta and playing as german .

not totally sure what you mean, to have the game set up so you have no ability to extract from the Theatres - apart from the Axis Reserve - your set up screen should look like
If its like that, and you can transfer from say West TB to the map, then that is a bug.
Overclaiming from a Theatre can lead to all sorts of problems. A steady stream of lost VP, the likelihood that a given Theatre will collapse more quickly and so on.
Section 13.3.4 of the manual sets out what happens if you opt for Enhanced control

Yes I think they have come from AR. I`ve only moved a few so I probably havent upset other theatre levels. I wont do it again.

if its from the reserve - thats fine. Its an abstraction that is there for you to use (or not) as you wish. There are a few advantages (see the manual section) but with the axis I make only minimal voluntary use.
so yes, some units appear there and then you can assign to the map when suits you. Mostly these are units that historically went through a refit/training cycle before being released to active operations.
