After completing the scenario "Gordov's Counterstroke" playing the Axis side against Soviet AI, I am met with an eternal "Please wait ..." screen.

In someone elses post about getting stuck after the first scenario pressing Alt + Tab was the solution, but unfortunately that doesn't help me. When I do that I see the window from where I loaded the savefile which is unresponsive until I close the "Please wait ..." window.

The problem persists after updating the game and restarting the computer.
I'm thankful for any advice.

Oh, is there any Error.txt files in the Documents/My Games/Stalingrad directory?
Do you hvae any saved files from the turn before this happened (e.g. autosaves)?

Thanks for the quick response.

There doesn't seem to be an Error.txt but I could offer a game.log . I do have a save for many planning phases of the second scenario but I can't figure out how to upload a savefile as .gm .gms files are apparently not accepted.
