so it is 9/42 in the game and my production for the George is around 60% as well as the Frank and Grace. The George normally comes on line 7/43 the Frank and Grace come in in 44. So when it reaches 100 what happens. Does it move the production up or does it complete it? If only moves it forward by how much does it do so? Trying to figure out if/when i want to switch production to other fighter models.

When it reaches 100% it moves forward the date in which the airframe will become available by one month. Ie. George is originally 7/43 and will become 6/43 when it reaches 100%, then restarts the process from 0%
You need a lot of R&D factories to really push forward the airframes and bear in mind you also need the engines to be available.
