Strike aircraft descending for auto-engage

Hi. I noticed that aircraft with air to ground loadouts will dive down and hug the ground whenever they are ordered to auto engage targets, even if the weapon they are using is well within the altitude limits. This is great for unguided rockets and iron bombs but they shouldn't be doing this for longer ranged guided weapons. Only workaround for this so far is to manually force them to maintain a certain altitude but it shouldn't be this way regardless. Have been seeing this issue since the last few builds.

Open the scenario and order the harrier to attack the radar using auto engage and watch how it descends to something like 300ft. You can replace the harrier with any other aircraft with any loadout and see the same behavior.

I'm convinced that loadout profile (Hi-Lo-Hi for Maverick) will make the aircraft descend.

Hmm, you may have a point. Tried loadouts with medium and high profiles and it checks out. In previous builds the aircraft only followed profile when assigned on strike missions. I guess its changed now to always follow the profile.
