So If the germans invade Norway on turn 8 .....

Does Norway immediately turn Allied on Turn 8 and if so, can Brit units transport directly to Norway ports unoccupied on turn 8 ?

I've had issues with this but not sure why ...

Only if Germany does not make Norway surrender on the turn of attack.
If they do then the UK has to invade as Norway will be German on the UK turn 8.
