Hello.

Right now if we select any text in the Description of any unit it will select it but there is no way to copy it I know we can go with the number to the description folder and find the text there... but would be nice to have the option to be able to make an Control+C in descriptions for making a google translation to different languages for us we are not English mother languaged.

please!

Thanks!

Drag and drop works, but it is not very practical.

Agreed not being able to ctrl-c in the database viewer/browser window has been incredibly frustrating for years, and seemed deliberately disabled, if it's possible I very much like to see that changed.

I don't know if the EULA allows copying that DB text, but if it does, then you can try Textify, with it you can copy the DB descriptions and send it to Google Translate from within Textify. It's easy to use, use Shift-Middle Click to copy the text, but not by selecting the text you want to copy first, Shift-Click next to the last sentence of a description, not on the text itself and it automatically copies the whole description.

Thanks! I was going to try it, but virustotal give me a trojan alert. Maybe is a false positive, but I preffer not to try.
In any case, even if it works... it would be nice to have the feature from inside CMO.

There are a ton of Chinese and Japanese scenarios in the workshop. This feature would be handy in copying and pasting into google translate etc.

Scenario descriptions can be copied with Ctrl-C though.

And btw, the devs will never add a Copy feature :) It's not a bug, it's not an oversight on their part, it's intentional, for many years already. And they have a reason for that, I guess :)

Hi people, I saw this question is answered already but I think it may be polite to give an official answer to this.
Copy paste from DB viewer is disabled on purpose for security reasons.
