If you try and generate a flight plan with no aircraft assigned to it you get the popup and then an exception error.

To replicate

Create mission
Press generate flight plan button

I tried to replicate this with no success. After closing the popup I cannot get any exception.
Anything particular in the scenario on which you are seeing this exception?

I saw something very similar and posted here (https://www.matrixgames.com/forums/view ... 956876aa24).

If you're not seeing it, maybe it has something to do with a difference in our underlying libraries (.NET, C++, etc.)? Yours might just be swallowing the failed thread.

Hi Scenario attached.

Thanks for the report. This should be fixed in the next beta update.

Still in issue in 1260.1

Fixed in 1263.1.
