Hi to all DW2 players,

You can help improve DW2 by running the test app below. This app checks the topology of your CPU and sends the results to us. This will help us refine how we handle multiple threads on different CPUs.

Just grab this app right here and run it.

Note that you do NOT have to screenshot or paste your results here. This is an automated CPU survey that will submit the result to us. You just press any key to exit.

If you have an AMD CPU, the metrics may be wrong, but the survey will help us fix that!

As indicated above, it will capture some CPU info that will help us diagnose the topology of CPUs accurately which will allow us to more correctly manage threads in the game while also giving us an overview of which processors to optimize for and more precisely how.

Got a blue Windows protected your PC popup when trying to run it?
You might have Windows Defender warning you about it.
It's perfectly safe, but if you have any reservations, just don't bother.
Otherwise, you can click 'More info' and then a 'Run anyway' button will appear.

No this is independent of DW2 itself. Just run this app straight from your downloads folder if you wish

I want to participate, but run the game on Linux. Anyone knows if its working through Wine or if there is an alternative program to retrieve the data that runs on Linux?

It did not wait for 'press any key' - but just disappeared after running (I briefly saw a display that looked like it might be correct)...

Oh, I see - it automatically closes if you don't do anything after a few seconds...
