With this event firing, regarding access to the Sea of Japan, why these minefields are not removed?

US submarines were passing here.

The map is very skewed so it is playable. If it was too scale the hexes that far North would be incredibly far away for the Allies. It's a 1250 km difference. It is also done for game balance purposes.

The hex at 70,77 is enough.
