Axis Allies no move line

Can we bring back the Axis-Allies no move line that was in the original WITE? Historically, the Romanians, Hungarians and Italians only fought in the South and the no move line was a good way to represent that. Right now in my VtB campaign, its pretty weird to see the German AI sending Hungarians to defend Konigsberg

I cannot move units of the Axis minors north of a specific horizontal line.
Simply more elegantly there is no line drawn at all - but movement is hindered.
It looks better to the eye.
Support Units can be attached to units north of that line but I do not think it is anything game crippling or that needs amending.

hmm... you're right. However due to the map projection, this no-move line is north of Poland and Germany which does lead to unrealistic scenarios like Hungarians defending Danzig and Konigsberg.
perhaps a diagonal line that moves south the further west you get might work? But yeah, its not that pressing of an issue

Why 'unrealistic'?
That line itself is an arbitrary decision that hypotizes for no reason a division of this or that nation would not have gone north of that 'parallel'.
Nothing ideally prevents an Axis Minor unit to operate around Leningrad, if not some imposed, entirely arbitrary decision for 'design for effect' concept.

The no-move line is a in-game abstraction/simplification of political considerations (which are beyond the scope of the game). In the VtB scenario, Hungary is in a fight to the death with their capital besieged and 70% of their country occupied. I'm pretty sure both the Hungarian High Command and the rank and file would be livid if OKH told them to go defend East Prussia instead of their homeland.

That would not make sense because in general troops are more motivated to defend own homeland.
But say in '42 if the OKH was to arrange with the Hungarian High Command that their 2nd army was to deploy about Leningrad instead than about Voronhez, would have they ojected that vehemently?
I do not think so.
There are games with such arbitrary imposition and others with no impositions at all. You hav your forces and can administer them as the player deem fit within other boundaries / game terms and definitions.

@fighter, just don't send the Huns north of your line.
There, done.
Seriously, by the time you are defending Danzig, most likely won't have many Huns left to worry about.
That will be the least of your worries.

IRRC, some Hungarian units kept fighting for the Axis after the switch of sides - There were units in Southern Poland and the Hungarian 1st Cavalry Division surrendered in Austria.
