I put it here as I didn't find any general area to write on...

I am going to loose the war in Falklands as Argentina because I made a ferry of all my planes to Malvinas airports and even they are prepared and just need some fuel, they have to be park for 20 hours.
I understand that it is needed mechanics, etc etc... but in a war, for example as Ukraine, I cannot imagine a pilot saying to his commander, that he is not goint to takeoff again because he already was 3 hours flight already.... he would just jump and flight even under drugs.

I would understand a penalization somehow while flying those planes after a ferry. And I totally understand that has to be waited to calibrate any weapon that has to be reloaded.... but a weapon that has not be fired? 20 hours waiting? If I were the general and I would see a high number of planes comming to bomb, no rest possible to my pilots!! lol.

Have you read any of the documentation on surged ready times that are available? Its dependent somewhat on the scenario designer, but you can easily change. Again, this is the tech forum.. I suggest one of the other forums, like the CMO main forum or The War Room.

You might also want to search ready time. Its been discussed at great length in the past and you can educate yourself on why the current method is what it is.

About the surge, I changed it but still the same ammount of time. Changed in the WRA Air Operations Tempo.

I'd verify that you did indeed change it, if you changed the tempo you should not be seeing 20 hour ready time for most aircraft, at least. (It's been awhile since I've had to use any in a scenario with surge tempo but large bombers can possibly have a long ready-time even with surge operations if I recall correctly due to the amount of pre-flight operations and logistics required for each sortie)

Again though, if the tempo is set correctly you should not be seeing super long extended time, in-fact with quick-turn around on, some aircraft can land and be ready for another sortie within 30 minutes. Take a look at the manual as it's extremely easy to read, gets to the point, and really does a great job of quickly covering any subjects. It does not get as much credit as it deserves.

This would absolutely never happen, even in war time, the chances are almost non-existent, that's all I'll say as there's a lot to unpack with that statement but it all basically comes back to the fact that, that statement is incorrect.

I understand what you're trying to say with this example though, and there ARE ways to have your aircraft land, re-arm, re-fuel and take right back off spending as little time on the ground as possible so he can get right back into the cockpit to continue to fight. This is where things like quick turn arounds are used.

Also, you as the Commander have tactical and operational considerations to make when ferrying flights, one of those considerations is that unlike your example above, you usually can't just turn around and tell your pilot(s) "Get back in the air, you only had a three hour flight!" and have him ready to rock and roll for a combat sortie within 20 minutes. There's so much more that goes into a sortie than just the pilot and his willingness to fly again right away. Like it or not, this is pretty accurate to the way it happens in real life.

We'd love to help you figure out why your surge tempo is not working but you really have to help us help you, we need a more information than you've provided for us to help you without guessing.
