In my current game I want to transfer my Super Heavy Artillery back to the " Reserve " I did transfer 5 out 7 of them earlier in game.

But Now I seem to have forgotten the MAGIC WORDS, I did have a read through the manual but still having no luck.

I will show you what I have tried so far repeatedly without luck.

1. Simply transfer the 2 SU's from the SS Pz Korps to OKH as you will see by the 2 screens shots.

So far so good SU's at OKH.

Run turn OKH sends SU's back to SS Pz Korps !!!!!

2. Go to Commander report screen go to 1 of the SU's in question try to use either Refit / Reserve Button or transfer button to send SU to reserve and get this result both times.

I don't get it I think I am doing it correctly but I must not be.

Using the Refit / revere the unit is still sitting there.

I tried all these repeatedly even putting the SU's on refit first still no luck.

Using the Transfer button the screen tells me " zero units where sent to reserve " I'm stumped, I will look at the manual again.

You cannot send SU to reserve on the turn they changed HQs, which you have done by moving them from a Corps to OKH. You should wait until next turn to do that.

Except the SUs get sent back, right? I think the automatic SU assignment routine is at work. It tries to fill your HQs with <priority> SUs of each type, where priority is set on the top of the HQ's Assigned (X) page. If you set all the priorities to -1 through the Commander's Report, it will deactivate the routine and leave all SUs to be distributed manually. Of course, you can reenable it later if you want.

P.s. or just move the Corps HQ to a rail hex far away from enemy units (10 or 8 hexes should be enough) and you can transfer to the national reserve directly from the Corps.
