[1.0.5.3] Repeated crashes after only few minutes of gameplay

Never had a lot of crashes until now even though the earlier versions seem to cause a lot of issues for some players, but I just switched to the latest beta version during a session (previously was on 1.0.5.1 I think?) and have had to abandon it as it crashed way too much. On the save I attached I am unable to play more than 10 minutes. I cannot tell what causes the crashes, it never happens during paused gameplay but it does not seem to be related to specific action from my side.
Starting from the save, I just play around with troops from transport, try to design and build destroyers, and by the time the first destroyer is out the game is dead.
