Greetings,

As many of you know, Loki100 is a prominent member of this community, having contributed both to the forums and to the general understanding of this game.

It is also true that he has been harassed at points by members of this same community, with some of those people now having been warned or banned from these forums.

However, that in itself is no excuse for breaking our rules.

An investigation into Loki's recent conduct revealed the use of a fake account, where he would pretend to be concerned about himself to drive support for himself on his main account. This is known as “sock-puppeting” and is against our rules.

It gives me no pleasure to do so, he has been banned from this community for a period of 1 month. The strictest punishment I can give for a first offence, due to the deceptive nature of the offence and the seriousness of it.

We want this community to be the best possible community for games to enjoy together, play together, make mods together and be friends together.

Loki has apologized for his actions to us at Matrix, in our conversation with him after the conclusion of my investigation and has admitted to and accepted the punishment for, his actions.



Remember: You can always report any problematic posts or PM's to me. Anyone with concrete evidence of wrongdoing will have that evidence investigated. No-one is above the rules, not staff, not contributors, no-one.

As your community manager, I am always here for you guys, I hope that the only posts I have to make in the future are good ones about updates and new features... but I will be here for you if that is not the case.

Hoping that he'll take the time to reflect, heal, and come back better.

I am sad that something like this happened. I personally always wanted to be friends since all of us here are all striving to better the game we all love so much.

this account was left to give ability for a loki to read forum while his main account is in ban?

or he is still using it for his advantages and ignores forum rules (which you can see by last active 12 Jul)

For all I know bans are to prevent people from posting.
Anyone can browse, always and ever - since one can browse a public forum without having logged in or being registered (thus as guest).
So I do not believe it is a problem there - unless post happens from that account.

Anyhow I am not a moderator qualified to answer you Stamb - but I think the answer I provided is correct.

if ban prevents user from posting only, then why not to read forum from a main account and use sockpuppet again?

@Stamb, why do you need to beat a dead horse? What threat is this to you?

The mods have dealt with this issue, why do you bring it back up, it only causes bad vibes.

i did not post anything when i was close to be banned (see RedLancer's post) while i was pretty sure that FredCat is loki
but loki has crossed the line when he decided to do his trolling in wite 2 Hex server

and looks like he is still ignoring forum rules

To be clear: That account (Fredcat) has been banned. Permanently.

Obviously. It was the first thing I did even before the deeper investigation into Loki, as it was an obvious sock-puppet.

It may show as active simply because it's been logged into. Which is pointless, of course, as I've nuked it. But maybe Loki didn't realize that and logged into the account to close it.

The real question here is why you are stalking this account? It really lends a lot of weight to Loki's accusation that you've been stalking him and his behaviour was a reaction to your stalking. Frankly, I can think of no other reason to go after this account in this way, so you've basically made his case for him.

So, you will get an official warning.
