Ferry destination

Hi! I'm playing Desert Storm after picking it up in the Steam summer sale.
For Ferry missions (which I have a lot of for the first DS mission), is it possible to change the destination? My F15s from Langley direct to Dahrain need a fuel stop but I can't figure out how to divert them without creating a new ferry mission and assigning them to it. I'd prefer to change the destination of their current ferry mission.
