How fast can you make Georgia howl?

After some plays of Blue vs Grey, I came to appreciate Making Georgia Howl, the 1864 scenario, because of its brevity.
It can obviously be won easily, playing the Union, but I wonder how fast this can be done. The Confederates are pretty resilient, even in the face of defeat. I just achieved Union victory by June 30th, 1864, by simultaneously taking Richmond, Atlanta and San Antonio. I wonder if it is possible to reach this even faster. I have been playing on veteran, although I don´t think the difficulty level plays a big role.
