In wpe we all use German submarines to great effect against UK convoys, are people doing the same here with US subs vs Japanese convoys? maybe I haven't tried enough it just hasn't seemed very effective to me, yes you can take out some convoys but usually not enough to even make them buy more convoys or lose any production so I quit wasting $ on subs. anyone else have any better luck?

The US subs are not useful until near the end of 43 due to torpedo issues...then they hit hard.
BUT keep in mind they are sunk much more quickly.
They are very effective at that time...and it is not like the US is hurting for production points.

Go read the AAR at the moment for ncc and Yuelin...subs are smashing the Japanese though at the current point in the game it is too little to late.

Yes, I woke up a bit late. But, destroying Japanese MM is one of the key to victory. Because Japan needs PP to build and repair all its units. You must invest in it.

In another game, I have started a little earlier and, end of 1943, I am starting to have few results.

Almost all Japanese MM were historically destroyed end of 1944 not before.

Interesting maybe I will have to put more effort in to that
