PBEM and Update Error SC American Civil War

Good Morning.
I am trying to open PBEM and I received a message that an update is required. Then when I attempt to update I receive another error message. Screenshots below (or attached). Please advise.

Hello, I get the same update error everytime I try. I wrote a message to
support@slitherine.co.uk as advised on the ticket page at the matrix site. Now, waiting for answer...

Don't use the updater. Go to 'your page' and download the update directly
